# Concerns About Adding Centralized Stablecoins

We know that stablecoins like USDC and USDT can be frozen at the request of governments or other entities. My question is: what would happen if a criminal deposited USDC on Namada and the issuer later froze those tokens on Noble?

Circle would need to freeze all or none of Namada’s USDC deposits
