Fast Shielded Microgrants: Introduction & Call for Proposals

way-late replying. btw, big list of ideas here: https://ideas.web3privacy.info/
and here: https://github.com/AztecProtocol/dev-rel/blob/main/hackathons/INSPIRATION.md

Ethereum wallet seeding

should be fairly simple–create new wallet with MetaMask, connect to local webapp, import new wallet address, send ETH from Namada (bridging is handled). not sure if user may want to have a record saved locally. perhaps this could be added to Namadillo as a feature

Remote-controlled private defi

doesn’t matter which bridge or platform. the user should be able to use eg. USDC in Namada shielded pool to a) deposit into Aave b) receive Aave’s deposit tokens, like aEthUSDC, back into shielded pool c) redeem aEthUSDC for USDC to be back in Namada shielded pool

Sentinel

not sure how the user flow should go–i’m shifting focus to consider mobile-ready solutions (i’m very accustomed to desktop/laptop, but.. :sauropod: :comet:)

regarding Sentinel’s VPN service, @Daniel is likely much more familiar than i am, and has considered this flow (but 2 years ago): Shielded actions - Subscription to a dVPN node on Sentinel

i looked at what appears to be Sentinel’s Android app (tho there are a few mobile apps), which uses $P2P tokens (rebrand from $DVPN) exclusively

the app asks for 1.33k $P2P for 30d of VPN, and uses google pay to let you buy $P2P with a credit card. but it’s $27 USD for 5k $P2P vs buying 5k $P2P for ~$1.25 on a DEX

there’s a “Swap to Get DVPN” button that goes to the swapfast.app site (by Leap Wallet). if you have crypto, you can then swap into $P2P, transfer to the wallet provided by the app, and access the service
