Nominations: outstanding Shielded Expedition submissions & contributions

Hey everyone,

@Gavin I want to nominate https://interface-namada.quantnode.xyz in the interface category. I used this interface throughout all SE. As a non-technical user, using a command line to interact with the Namada chain was difficult. This interface was the only way I could find to vote on proposals. Additionally, the memo feature was also handy. Good luck to the team!

I will recommend 2 Tools

1- Active IBC Channels by liveraven … https://services.liveraven.net/cosmos-testnets/namada/ibc-channels

@Gavin
Hello. Please pay attention to explorer https://namada.hedonismteam.com/, which we have developed by our team, we plan to improve it and make it more presentable and with more features, explorer and rpc server are still working and never shut down (please check uptime, because earlier it was 99%). Our team is ready and able to keep full node in mainnet uninterrupted, please consider this initiative as well. We have recently expanded our team with new developers, we want to continue to participate in the development of namada network. Is there anything else we can do to get additional ROIDs and move up to rewarded slots? Or perhaps the number of rewarded seats will be increased?

These are our nominations for the eligible categories:

  • Explorers

We’d like to nominate this explorer from bitszn team because it has a beautiful/intuitive UI/UX, along with some interesting features such as an uptime tracker, wallet balance checker, etc.

  • Interfaces

Demo

We’d like to nominate this staking interface from Cosmic Validator team, because we consider it useful and we aren’t aware of a similar interface made on the Shielded Expedition.

  • Shielded apps

We’d like to nominate this IBC app from Zen, because we consider useful its agnostic design, which allows users to make use of the Namada’s data protection for a wide variety of IBC enabled chains, regardless of specific integrations.

  • Shielded Expedition support: a) tools b) social support

Active IBC channels checker

We’d like to nominate this SE tool from Liver | LiveRaveN, because it’s been key to detect active IBC channels during the competition.

Hello,

We’d like to nominate our coordination spreadsheet and coordination efforts under:

  • Shielded Expedition support: a) tools b) social support

Spreadsheet contribution description: We decided to create a spreadsheet (Shielded Expedition restart tracker - Google Sheets) for upgrades because we noticed everyone putting things on discord and decided that a spreadsheet would make upgrades more organized. It seems that the team has taken a liking to this because they’ve directed more individuals to utilizing the spreadsheet in the announcements

Here are more coordination efforts on our behalf:

Nomination: Shielded Wallet Extension - Outstanding Submission

I am excited to introduce my wallet extension, which I believe stands out as an outstanding submission for its shielded application capabilities. The wallet supports six types of transfers:

  1. IBC Shielded Transfer
  2. IBC Transfer
  3. Shielded to Shielded Transfer
  4. Unshielding
  5. Transparent to Shielded Transfer
  6. Transparent to Transparent Transfer

Documentation and Resources

For detailed information about the wallet extension, configuration instructions, and a video demonstration, please refer to the following link: Shielded Wallet Extension Documentation

Feedback

I hope everyone to try out my application and provide feedback. Your insights and suggestions are invaluable for improving the wallet.

Thank you for your support!

Hi everyone,

During the Shielded Expedition, many great tools were created by different validators and builders, so we would like to nominate:

  • Nebb by Kintsugi Nodes: https://extended-nebb.kintsugi.tech, which has a great interface and allows anyone to inspect the transaction history of other players.
  • Explorer by bitszn: https://namada.valopers.com with a well-designed UI and features.
  • Staking interface by Cosmic Validator, which is simple and useful simultaneously (especially in Mainnet).

Ola!

First and foremost, most of the submissions I found extraordinary are already nominated! And, sadly, many (in the Worksheet) do not work anymore due to being (semi-)offline.

So I’ll take a different approach and nominate those that, in my opinion, inspired us or made our lives easier during SE:

  • Explorer by gnosed - One of the very first explorers! I remember using this one for the longest before others appeared!
  • Governance Telegram Bot by Krewedk0 (Citadel.one) - This was possibly the first governance bot to be around and I stick to it throughout the expedition.
  • Active IBC Channels by LiveRaveN and Active IBC Channels by RuslanGlaznyov - these two were somewhat around at the same time and I happened to use them interchangeably whenever I was looking for an open channel.
  • Transaction Viewer by pretoro - this was arguably the inception for Sybil detection and the tools that came after.
  • change-consensus-key ‘fix’ by Jeonseup (Cosmostation) - What can I say? A hero.

Hey there, everyone!

We are excited to present and nominate our contributions to the Namada Ecosystem, which include the NamTool and dePortal Explorer (Public Beta). These tools, developed from scratch, are part of a comprehensive network monitoring solution that has undergone extensive internal testing to ensure superior quality and effectiveness.

Here’s a brief overview of both tools and their features:

NamTool

NamTool - an open-source network monitoring solution that enhances your network monitoring experience. NamTool offers alerts about node status changes, analysis and reporting on node activity, network stop/start alerts, automatic notifications about Namada Governance through Telegram, and multi-language support.

GitHub

dePortal

dePortal - a blockchain explorer providing detailed insights with user-friendly graphics and visualizations, as well as block, validator, ecosystem, and overview information, developed by our team from scratch.

Landing

Please note that the dePortal Explorer is currently shut down. We plan to restore its functionality early next week.

UPD. The dePortal Explorer is now up and running!

Questions or Feedback

We welcome any questions or feedback you may have. We eagerly look forward to your support for our nomination as we plan to maintain our tools and ensure their compatibility with the Namada mainnet when it goes live. Thank you!

Best regards,
The deNodes Team
