Globalization Namada. Shielded Metrics. Social Engagement

Hello everyone.

I would like to share my thoughts with the community, the Heliax team, and the many, many teams that are working on Namada now, and if this is relevant, and we can reach a consensus, then create a proposal for funding from this discussion.

I have a proposal that is aimed at 2 important components of Namada, which, in my opinion, can be improved.

1. Increasing Shielded Metrics
2. Increasing external Social Engagement

So let’s begin.

  1. Increasing Shielded Metrics

Current metrics show that we have about $223,000 in the chain, in various assets.
And if we are interested in increasing it, then we could launch something like a liquidity program, like what Ethena did at the time (as examle), and for explosive growth of metrics, increase the %APY (for example, up to 30-50% per annum) and have this company operate until the Nam party (full launch of the blockchain), after which these values ​​​​are brought to the standard position.

Watching the excitement caused by the launch of the 1st and 2nd Donor Drop companies, I think it would be cool to add a gamification mode to this things, as example when upon reaching certain metrics, the total amount of rewards (%APY) would increase (upon reaching the amount of assets of 10-15-20-30 million, etc.). Or somethingelse.

And if it is technically feasible, then the introduction of a referral system to attract influencers who will conduct their own campaigns and attract their audience to increase Shielded metrics in Namada, in return receiving a some % of the rewards that their users will receive, which would be distributed to their assets.

In general, if it is technically feasible, and the team has time for it, then all this could be presented as a liquidity company that could be announced and launched, supported by a separate article in the Namada blog, so that even a newbie could figure out how to participate in this and allocate a separate pool of rewards for this, in addition to the standard work of the blockchain.

And already with the full launch of the blockchain in phase 5, we would have increased current metrics, and due to the acquisition of a new audience and community growth, subsequent metrics would be much, much higher than the current ones.

As one of the options, the liquidity campaign proposed above can be timed not only to the upcoming launch of phase 5, but for example to the integration with Wormhole and the addition of new assets from Sol and EVM, if this is planned before phase 5. Thus, users will have a large selection of assets that they will want to add to Namada.

And here I would like to move on to the next proposal, namely

  1. Increasing the external Social Engagement of Namada.

Since Namada is moving full speed towards its full launch, I think that it would be great to have support for this matter not only from the internal, formed community, but also to attract new blood and the external community, and for this purpose to contribute to the addition of Namada to the Pre-Tge Leaderboard of Kaito.
And also to allocate some NAMs tokens of the proposal for the launch of social events in Kaito.
It seems to me that the current social events that are held in Namada are aimed at the internal community and if we want to attract the masses, as well as revive the old community more strongly, then we need to act from the outside, through useful resources.
Kaito AI is an AI-powered Web3 analytics platform that allows users to track various narratives, Twitter topics, tickers, projects, and more.
Opensea, Eclipse, Aptos, Farcaster and many, many other projects use Kaito to promote themselves and also reward their users for creating high-quality content about them on Twitter.

Results

Overall, the main idea is to raise Shielded Metrics within Namada and social activity not only in Namada, but also outside of it, promoting privacy from the outside.
This is my idea and plan for the Globalization of Namada, in order to attract active media personalities at the expense of the Kaito company, privacy enthusiasts, lovers of farming a pleasant APY, as well as various influencers with their audience in shielded pools.
This way by full launch Namada will be able to approach in all weapons with good performance.

Thank you @ke1pie — we fully support this idea. A strong MASP pool is at the core of Namada’s value proposition, and running liquidity and social campaigns is essential to ensure a solid launch. It’s also a great way to help Namada gain the recognition it truly deserves in the wider crypto community.

This could be a good idea for stETH for example, so that a large amount of stETH will come to the MASP via IBC Eureka/Cosmos Hub, this will be good for Namada but also for IBC Eureka and the Cosmos Hub to show a large demand and use case. However, I don’t think such high APY should be offered for all tokens in the MASP, for IBC tokens I would say only the largest ones like ATOM or TIA.
Also, this should be released in the top crypto medias and other media platforms, and make it go viral on twitter so as many users as possible are aware about this

This is a good idea, but also it is important a coordinated media release in all the top crypto media and traditional media also and several viral campaigns on twitter, some top youtubers, etc.

I agree with you @CosmicValidator, that this can be adjusted depending on what assets are worth attracting in the first place.

And yes, if we (which I hope we do) do launch this liquidity program, media support will also be important and we will need a large-scale approach (blog, media, Twitter, etc.) to launch, but not just official twitter mentions and Discord announcements.
