We’re moving along in our [Proposal] Mainnet 
plan , and now we’re ready to begin Pre-Genesis Stage 2! You can still create (but not edit/delete) your mainnet validator, but this stage is intended to focus on creating delegations for discovering our set of mainnet validators (exciting 
).
After Stage 2 is done, we will coordinate our mainnet dry run

Anyone can join Pre-Genesis Stage 2. We’re just using github to coordinate, but all valid PRs will be merged, beginning at 8:00 utc Sep 17. There’s no hand-selected genesis validators happening or whatever, because we’re starting the way we mean to continue, and until we get better tooling, this is as permissionless as it gets!
There is no deadline yet for Pre-Genesis Stage 2, but we will give you at least 5 days’ notice before ending Pre-Genesis Stage 2.
We’re using #pre-genesis-chatter channel to chat, if you want to help provide support, have questions or concerns, etc. After merging (or rejecting) your pull request, you will likely get an email notification from github.
