Excited to announce that we (Luminara) are making Spotlight, 
a new Namada Discord bot!
We’d love to enable Namada to move away from “moderating” Discord (ie. spam-clearing duty) towards a culture of stewarding our spaces. Spotlight is being designed as a fun way to recognize active contributors and to showcase them.
The initial design is for designated Namada members (“Luminara agents”) to be able to use our bot and NAM to recognize helpful people in our Discord. The NAM awarded could also be recorded as points in a spreadsheet that we could use for a leaderboard.
The design is open to feedback, you can reply here (or DM me) if you have feedback and/or want to get involved! Testing, in particular. I’m excited because i think it will be fun to experiment with gamifying this. And open sourcing everything will set the stage to make new kinds of bots, like a community-operated spam-clearing bot (Mr Sparkle 
).
I’ve made a janky, proof-of-concept tip bot named Namatip, which you can try right now in the Campfire testnet Discord channel.
